A travel blog entry by johncowell on Aug 07, 2015

Today Ruth and I took a canoe on the lake. We wanted to explore it more close to the coast. It was great fun apart from the burden on your shoulders. After an hour of paddling, our shoulders and forearms were worn out. We then had a relaxing afternoon by the pool, followed by a last supper at home before moving on to ...

The hire company had given us a map with suggested routes for our time in the lake. We decided to ...

Next stop was Nepal and Korea. Korea was our favourite pavillion in The Expo . They had a really cool robot display of screens showing awesome images of images of food being produced and preserved in Korea. Their whole focus of thier pavillion was on ...

... di S' Ambrogio, (St. Ambrose) where we had heard relics of the Three Wisemen were housed. Though we did not end up seeing the relics, walking around and learning about the Basilica was special enough. A short metro ride away from the Basilica was where we saw the Sforza Castle. As soon as we caught sight of the place, we knew exactly why the Sforza's were Milan's richest family during the medieval time period. Across from ...
