Sam took us to a quiet residential area of Currumbin in whose waterways a large bull shark used to live, unable to get out to open water, having found its way in as a pup. After that, we spent much of the rest of the day reading. The calm of the evening provided a stark juxtaposition to the extremes of this ...

Apparently I didn't read the part where you need to be 45kg, otherwise you don't have the momentum to carry over from the 20m vertical drop to successfully navigate the loop to loop. ... a very entertaining aboriginal chap playing the didgeridoo! He was awesome and we ended up watching him for ages! He put on a really good show! He was making a fortune too!! Out of the hustle and bustle of the main strip we went and sat on the beach for a while, the sand was so cold on our feet, it felt so nice! It is so relaxing being able to enjoy the beach at night as it's so very busy in the day! It was the best possible way to end the day. ...
