This was the day I had been waiting for. It was roller coaster day! Okay yes I'm 19 and have never been on one but i think now I'm ready and it was time to try. The park we were headed for was called Dreamworld, one of 5 amusement parks in brisbane/Gold Coast. The others included a water park, a movie world, a sea world I think but Dreamworld was the one. It was that far either from where we were staying but I think the drive there was more terrifying ...

Arriving hungry we naturally fell into ...

    ... there are:

    • light up t-shirts, that respond to ambient noise (kinda cool)
    • magic wallets (beyond the novelty, I can't imagine actually using one)
    • a guy selling cheese at deep discounts (the kraft slices in his bin were a bit of marketing turnoff)
    • macadamia nuts, in virtually any flavor
    • a full selection of big bang theory shirts (I almost bought one)
    • a place that guaranteed - ...

... back to the hotel to pass out in our own individual queen size beds with a movie and…another bottle of wine (which thankfully for our own sakes, didn’t get opened but stayed chilled in the fridge for another silly day!).

Following morning consisted of laying in bed being lazy girls in front of the TV until we had to check-out, followed by a breakfast (well lunch) at the lovely beach front café on the promenade which had hefty portions for a ...
