The happiest creatures here were the birds and Stephen and I spent some time watching their breakfasting antics. Seafood was definitely on the menu! The seagulls-which are twice the size of Aussie seagulls- would get a clam from the ocean, fly up with it and then drop it from a height, before descending directly down like a parachute ...

It's been about 10 years since I last visited my aunt Heather and uncle Roger in Cape May. I arrived just before the start of the tourist season, so it was nice and quiet (but a little chillier than any of us liked!). We started out the day at George's for some amazing breakfast (french toast with lemon greek yogurt? Yes, please!) and meandered through the shops on Washington Street.

... ton of cheeses which was great. We also went to the Maple Works place for maple syrup tasting and to buy some jugs. We saw a few covered bridges this day (Gold Brook, Fisher and Foster). We came back through the town of Stowe but didn't really do anything there. After a much needed shower we went to Hen of the Woods for a fantastic dinner. What a beautiful place. I made two trips to Atlantic City while a cadet, at the end of cow and then firstie years. Cow year was post-TEE leave, when a group of Gups (Frank, Mikey, Luke et al.) rented a house near the beach.
