... at the start then did really well, not stopping for others but going straight through them. Every time I would look back and couldn't see the kids. I started worrying if Milan and Dior were ok and tried a couple of times to get off the donkey but every time it stopped it was near a cliff face. Having an awesome time. Santorini is beautiful and very chilled - the perfect place to unwind.

    Highlights so far:

Sunset at Oia - thousands of people lined the walls to watch and then started clapping when it set (weird)

... Naxos (visually not what we expected) we were all looking forward to the tourist dream island of Santorini. Everyone in the world has seen the white houses with blue roofs. Yes, this was the place. Five hours on our ferry passed quickly and we were rounding the island of Santorini in no time. After researching we learned there were two sides of the island in which to stay: the caldera (volcano view) or the beaches. We chose beaches ...

... Fira, a beautiful maze of streets and fantastic (but expensive) shopping. We ate as the sun set in a restaurant dug six levels deep into the side of a cliff. The views were incredible – so much so that it even rivalled sunset at the nearby town of Oia, where many of the picture perfect postcards of Santorini are taken. But of course, we enjoyed that too – just like we enjoyed some wine and cheese tasting in a local winery sitting on a balcony overlooking ...
