... it got too hot, the next morning, but in reality we didn't get out the door until after 10am, which is when the hotel stopped serving breakfast. It was also Sunday, so nothing was open. We went for a walk along the Venetian wall and hopped down, when we saw a place open, to grab an iced coffee and some doughnuts. We were clearly no longer in tourist land, as the waitress spoke very little English. We jumped back on the wall and headed to the coast. We walked back ...

In fact, we ended up turning off onto a dirt road that wound around quite a bit and started to look more like the desolate desert of Arizona, cactuses included. ... and there is also a magnificent 4 masted sailing ship Wind Spirit. After an early dinner at a Italian restaurant, we went for a walk up to FiroStefani and made our way back along the cliffs for some new views before taking in our 4th magnificent Santorini sunset. At 10:45pm and there was a large fireworks display on shore to farewell us on our last light in Santorini. Or maybe it was put on for the Seabourn Odyssey's departure...I'm not ...

... parking on the both sides of the road leading to the monastry. Having driven all over the world I think I am adequately experienced to now say where Italian drivers are probably the craziest in the world the Greek drivers are by far the worst in the world. Since picking up Jazzvoula we have driven on fantastic major highways, little back roads and everything inbetween and the Greeks really have no idea. Speed limits are posted but completely ignored, passing anywhere especially on ...
