... it got too hot, the next morning, but in reality we didn't get out the door until after 10am, which is when the hotel stopped serving breakfast. It was also Sunday, so nothing was open. We went for a walk along the Venetian wall and hopped down, when we saw a place open, to grab an iced coffee and some doughnuts. ... We walked into the town centre and spent some time exploring. We went to the end of the town and found a great view point. We then walked back to a restaurant that we had seen earlier and sat on the terrace and enjoy a lovely dinner (Scott had fresh local fish and Mel had a Greek spaghetti dish but our favourite was the amazing Greek salad that we shared). On the way we went inside one of the churches. ...

... some front row seats! About 50 other people eventually joined us as we waited for what seemed forever for the sun to set. But the wait was worth it, it was one of THE prettiest sunsets I have ever seen :)

The next day, we laid by the pool all day and ventured into town to find an early dinner. We bought some Greek chocolate bars and bottles of wine before heading back to our hotel room to play cards for hours upon hours!
