... all spotted with little white houses. After 8 hours we finally arrived in Santorini!! We asked a local if there was a bus to Perissa but he told us that unfortunately we'd have to get a bus to Thira (the opposite direction) then wait around for 1.5 hours there to get the bus to Perissa. He then tried to offer us a hire car in which we responsed "NO WAY!!!" We settled on getting a taxi which would be a bit more exy but waaay quicker and easier in the long run. We drove up and ...

... it got too hot, the next morning, but in reality we didn't get out the door until after 10am, which is when the hotel stopped serving breakfast. It was also Sunday, so nothing was open. We went for a walk along the Venetian wall and hopped down, when we saw a place open, to grab an iced coffee and some doughnuts. Some things need no explanation and I think the pictures speak for themselves. Yes, it is as beautiful and peaceful as it looks. We arrived via 6am flight on a turbo crop plane with propellers! Also, during a thunderstorm - eek! Kyle handled it much better than I did! We had the sweetest guy pick us up and bring us to our hotel, Aroma suites. It is just a beautiful white washed cave house with incredible balcony & sun deck! We went exploring and shopping in Fira, after a ...

... so you can save the trouble of going down and back on the same bus like we did. Some trips are not that regular so do check the schedule in advance. It takes about 10mins to Fira which is about 5km away and another 15mins to Oia at 11km away. The route to Oia has very nice view although the turns make me quite sick after the lack of sleep. We arrived at the hotel too early at 07:00 and the reception opens at 08:00 and we desperately need to sleep. The view outside the reception ...

... rocked up tonight, it was pretty dodgy and unmarked. I could really go on about how bad the experience was, but that's boring. If your ever in Europe though, don't fly with blu panama, they are utter ****. Sadly, out of all of that we lost a day in Rome which we are all devo'd about. Although arriving to our hotel, 50 meters from the colosseum makes all that worth while ! You'll be hearing all about Rome soon! For now enjoy the highlights from ...
