The Catlins
We were excited to get up and look out the window to our ocean view of Curio Bay. We are on a very remote coast line on the southern end of the South Island. Sparsely populated in rural New Zealand, it seems like it is on the edge of nowhere.

A great day ahead of us, packed up at the campsite, headed for our last breakfast at the Penguin Cafe in Portobello and chatted with the owner for a bit and got some great tips on where to go on our way to Stewart Island.

Ich bin schon um 6 Uhr wach, obwohl ich es nicht brauche. Daher tue ich mir die Ruhe an, lese Reiseführer, überlege was ich heute machen will und schaue fernsehen, bevor es in die morgendliche Routine geht.
