      Parked what I thought be a quit place at the Marina Pier only to be awaked the Night Crew of Fishermen preparing their Lobster-vessel in the middle of the night.... considered to relocate but did not felt like getting out my warm sleeping Bad and fell asleep again only to awake again to much more noise now when they where trowing their Lobster Cages around .... drove to other side of the Bay and had a good sleep there.       ... and we almost had a sunset shot but not quite. About 45 min from Dunedin I noticed that the sky was clear. I tried to get Wayne to stop and look at the stars but we had to get checked into our room and have some dinner so we didn’t stop.       ... I would die.
      Spotted a penguin on a hill and a bunch of sand dunes (also dangerous for the things that live in them).

      My adventure education prof mentioned the other day that New Zealand is a very long and thin island. No matter where you are, you are usually close to a mountain or a beach. Very true. Beaches everywhere. There are so many things to explore and I feel like I haven't done enough.

      Woke this morning to the campers "friend" for the first time, the pitter patter of gentle rain, heavy drizzle really but not enough to wet the ground properly or wash the dust off the van.
