    ... Figuera da Foz. Quite a cool little beach town that seemed very set up for tourists. There was some kind of huge stage on the beach and it looked as though a festival was being set up, we found out the hard way that the festival started the next day...all through the night cars arrived and filled up the car park that we were parked up in, people were starting to party already and were honking horns and all sorts of nonsense.     ... satnav Figueria da Foz as a lunch stop, it is a large town with a medium sized port up the estuary. The beach is tremendous but so were the waves. It was just too rough for me. We ate lunch overlooking a spectacular view.
    We pressed on in search of a campsite as Aires in the book are not as common as France or Spain and they have no electric or WiFi so blogging is impossible unless there is a bar with WiFi nearby. The ...
