This morning we headed for Porto in Portugal. On the way we stopped at the little town of Celorico. We visited the Hotel Mira-Serra for morning tea. The guide purchased custard tarts for everyone. They were excellent. Along the way we passed many Holm Oak trees which produce nuts. The park was fairly astonishing, with beautiful views everywhere and classic sculpture and mosaic like Gaudi buildings, and also beautiful tracts of park. It was very nice. Afterwards we set off towards Barceloneta, where we met Deejay at the station. We walked down to the beach, where ...

... Sunday morning. And we don't speak Portugese or Spainish. Bummer. So off to the Police we went to file a report before ringing the hire car company. With the logistics sorted and some cardboard over the window courtesy of a nice man in the street, we had to wait until Monday to get the car window fixed. The hire car company were happy for us to drive to Lisbon as planned as long as the car was securely parked. So off we went down the highway with a broken Black Caviar, poor little ...
