        ... The ride was so short because the dogs get so hot exercising at this time of the year and all needed bowls of water when they stopped. We also had a sneak look at 7 pups born the day before, a big litter for huskies. We we then taken into a traditional hut with a centre fireplace where our tour guide showed us how to cook pork sausages over the grill of the fire, which we ate in a roll with cheese.         ... whether we could mail it or not the previous day, and the nice lady said that it shouldn't be a problem, so I carried the re-curve bow and arms full of tourist **** (including a reindeer pelt!) through the shopping centre to the post office. Again, strange looks! The Post Office itself was great, and I quickly helped myself to a parcel to send all of our **** in and some bubble wrap and tape from their parcel wrapping station to wrap up the bow.         ... are incredibly friendly, loving to be patted, and seem to love to run. They get so excited when they know they are to be attached to the sled. At this time of the year it is too hot for them to exercise for more than 5 - 10 minutes at a time but will race over 6 days in winter through the snow.
