        Drove into town and went to the Pielisen Museum, the best outdoor museum of the whole trip. No-one else there, so we could admire the superb displays of Karelian village life in 70 buildings and exhibits. Karelia is what is now the adjoining parts of Eastern Finland and Western Russia. We then looked at the really good indoor museum with reconstructions of 18th and 19th century life /houses/ farm equipment etc. Then drove to Imatra, explored ...

        ... while, I start playing the Big Brain Academy on the Nintendo DS. Thank you so much, Frank, for letting me borrow it. The Nintendo DS surely saved my life during these first two days in Finland. And I have a feeling that it will do much more for me during the next two weeks.
