    Drove a circuitous route to Mikkeli through Joensuu and the Russian border. We stopped for a while in Joensuu another pretty town on a large River.     ... lakeside town, and after checking in walked the couple of hundred meters to the lakeside fish market. Many stalls selling smoked salmon. Smoking it on braziers. Lots of honey, cheeses and sausages and all sorts of food to buy.     ... each J The kids and dads spent the last hour of daylight playing soccer and badminton in the yard before the mozzies started, which was a good excuse to get the kids inside and into bed.
