    Day 3 Ocho Rios Jamaica

A travel blog entry by jennadoucette on Apr 22, 2014

Today was amazing. We woke up and went to the buffet for breakfast . After we met as a big group and left the boat for our first excursion which is Ochos Rios .(Dunns River Falls&Maragrita vile . At 10:00am our group left to go on the bus for Dunn river falls. When we got there it was insane how high it was, and the fact that we had to climb it was scary but really exciting ! The guide took us along the park (which we had wanted to visit) but did not take us in it. We were disappointed because we wanted to see more countryside. Ocho Rios has many lovely trees and is near beautiful water but due to so many people begging, it really ruins this country for me.

    We asked the ...

My mind has been blown. Everything I have every thought I knew about the extrinsic boundaries of beauty found in nature need to be reevaluated.

The Dunn's River Falls located just 8 kms outside of Ocho Rios are stunning. For an entrance fee of $2000 JBM ($20 US) for foreigners or $600 JBM for residents, you can spend the day climbing the falls, basking in the downpour or relaxing on the beach.

... in their boat they were skippered by “Captain Kirks” brother and they were trying to fly across the water. Their boat was almost at 45 degrees to the water most of the time. Our boat Captain showed us Mick Jagger’s pad and the amazing waterfall on his grounds. Mick’s house is along the coast in Ocho Rios in between Dolphin Cove and Dunn’s River Falls.

After the boats, we hit the beach for a spell where the ...
