... Each group had a videographer following them up the falls. They offered to give us a DVD of our climb for a measly $40. We felt that price was pretty ridiculous so we politely declined. We made our way through the maze of a market at the exit and got harassed by the vendors trying to sell us their goods. Patrick got suckered in by one of the vendors and found a baseball cap that he liked so we bought it for him. We also found the photo booth and picked up ...

... If you don't mind a long 10 hour flight and the 1.5hours transfer, then this is a great place for a sociable, friendly and relaxed vacation. Be prepared for the pricey trips but do go on some as there is plenty to see. River Tubing with Chukka at the White River is also a fun morning out. $65 with all the gear and a few laughs along the way. The rapids aren't too wild and would be suitable for children and older adults alike.
Drink plenty of rum - theres lots of ...

... the van and off to a lunch stop at a place in the middle of nowhere (Luana) where they served us up a hot lunch Buffett. Back in the van we headed further south to the YS falls. Here we climbed up the walkway and could enter the falls at various spots for a refreshing dip in and around the falls. Once done here we were off to the south shore and a boat trip on the Black river which although it looks black the water when ...

... on YouTube for his very unique laugh. Look him up! All in all the tour was short and sweet, but well worth it. We stopped for lunch back in Ocho Rios at a place called Scotchies. They serve authentic jerk chicken and pork, and it was fabulous! We got to go near the kitchen and take pictures of the cooking process. When we got back to the resort, it was not as sunny and still very windy along the beach. But we still relaxed by the ocean regardless of the ...
