... do it again. Afterwards we left for the Blue Mountains. Many of the guidebooks suggested visiting Wentworth Falls and the Three Sisters, both located in and near Katoomba. ... the kind of residents who are a little possessive about the place. Also the sites were astroturf, not really bush camping!
I quickly jumped on booking.com and found a room in a hotel - the Caledonian.
A old, but spotlessly clean room upstairs with soaring ceilings and a comfy bed. And probably the biggest television I had seen all trip! There was a basin, kettle, etc but i had to wander down the hall to the shared bathroom, not a problem as I didn't see another ...

I was pretty exhausted by now, having only had an apple and a few nuts to eat and got a little sunburnt. Took the car back and then we caught the train into town and looked around Darling Harbour, had lunch and then caught the ferry to Parramatta, a historic town along the river from Sydney Harbour and gawped at all the fantastic houses along the river.
