Pulled in to the drive at about 3, to Harry waiting to help me with my luggage. Most of which I chose to leave in the car, not keen to deal with it today. He made me a cuppa and we caught up until Jack arrived to collect him and take him back to their place. They will all come for dinner on Monday :)
Bought takeaway for dinner, lolled on the lounge with the cat.

... sun just captures the colours for some perfect photos. Still not as good as they eye can see. There were no rhododendrons in flower however I have seen them in the spring and they are truly a sight to see, when I stayed in Blackheath for several days with the pixels2Pages Australian members. We drove past the house we stayed in and it was covered in gorgeous colours. I wanted Bob to go back so I could take a photo but he was on a mission to get back home. Hope it's not like ...
We woke up to the sight of thick cloud and light rain this morning so after breakfast we decided to do a short walk to "honeymoon lookout" a local viewpoint and also a bus stop on the hop on-hop off service. As expected the view was almost entirely non-existent with thick cloud and fog meaning we could barely see 20 yards ahead. We caught the bus into Leura, the next village along and from there ...
... is quite impressive.
We left the last of our 3 day stay to visit Leura, the next door village. Indeed it is more elegant with quite a few boutiques but to me it is a bit of a tourist trap. A coffee and a tosti : 15 A$
Unfortunately the weather was again not on our side as the morning mist never lifted, turning into rain at times. Nice arty pictures though ;)
