... the kind of residents who are a little possessive about the place. Also the sites were astroturf, not really bush camping!
I quickly jumped on and found a room in a hotel - the Caledonian.
A old, but spotlessly clean room upstairs with soaring ceilings and a comfy bed. And probably the biggest television I had seen all trip! There was a basin, kettle, etc but i had to wander down the hall to the shared bathroom, not a problem as I didn't see another ...

... it was to be sometime before he got through as there were 100s and 100s of people and cars all trying to leave at once. I'm so glad I got dropped off.

... we have had a super day and no rain! And more than ready for a good nights sleep.

Took the car back and then we caught the train into town and looked around Darling Harbour, had lunch and then caught the ferry to Parramatta, a historic town along the river from Sydney Harbour and gawped at all the fantastic houses along the river.
