... turns are too steep and too short. With the bike it was full lock several times.At Janolan the road runs through the mountain but not by means of a tunnel. The roads runs into and out of the caves. On the way back the main attraction is Katoomba with its magnificent viewing area over the Blue Mountains and the so-called Three Sisters. From there it was back towards the point of departure completing the 355 km round trip.

... we found our access to the three sisters closed. A search and rescue helicopter did laps of the sky while we followed Prince Henry cliff walk from our camp. A boardwalk takes you over an isolated cascade, the signs read that the algae and discolouration is from the leached fertilisers used by farming and the water is unsafe to drink. ... go and see the waterfalls there and have a stroll. Again, such a picturesque setting. After walking down to the falls, I came across my cockatoo friend. He was awesome!! And then you look up and see so many more! They seem so clever as well! After a few snaps and catching the sun going down, we decided to head home and get the barbie on! Back on the bus I went for a tour round a number of the other scenic views, each one amazing of course. The driver was a very chipper chap who had grown up in the area so could tell us lots about the place, including tales of his grandad working down the mines. Having stopped at a spot called.
