Leaving Glacier was kind of sad. It is such a beautiful place and the people are so friendly. We did have to take a photo of the funny pine tree in our camp. We called it the "Mono Pine" in honor of our friend John O'Connell who works for a cell phone company and has worked with many a mono pine.
We have found so many different types of terrain here in Mt. We started off in mountains that were so thick with trees you could barely see the snow, then onto more open areas with tree ...
... the engine light before crossing the border. ONce we got checked in we decided that pizza was going to be a good thing to have as the end of raod meal..... and you know that a few beers has to go with Pizza. We made a plan to go to Boston's for Pizza ... but our wonderful Hotel Hostess lets us know of a better pizza place and they will deliver to the hotel.. perfect!

... again. Really black.They managed to get the price of a log cabin reduced so I followed and for about £20 secured a small cabin to myself. However, the heavens had opened by then, the roads were flooded and so, almost was my cabin. See pics. I was moved to the next one.Spent a good evening sharing pizza n beer with Dave & Mike hence this late entry.
... Plains. From there we found a quilt store for Donna where she scored big time finding some panels she had been looking for. From there we visited the C.M. Russell Museum complex and saw his works and his home and his studio. Robin is proud of us.
Tomorrow we invade Canada and get a day to rest and regroup.
