... Diamond and it was so neat and clean and the towns that we went through are just so clean and neat and just Mom and Pop stores. Would be really nice to spend time in some of these little towns. Each one seems to have a heritage park and museum. Such a pleasant drive and relaxing. We came into the USA again about 2:00 and settled in for the night in Great Falls, Montana. We have been on the phone to everyone and we are ...
Great Falls, Montana, United States schroederdTwo years ago when we did a house swap we spent a month fishing the Missouri river , so when we came back into town we stopped at the old house, filled the water tanks , and headed for a small campsite on the river, only known by the locals. We spent two nights here, Brent fished the river with a friend, and Jo knitted socks.
Also our computer died and we feel we are missing our right arm, hence the short entries
... place where I could lay it out to assemble the layers. A little narrower than ideal but it worked, especially for using the spray glue that keeps the layers from shifting.
By noon on Friday it was decided that the weather was not going to improve and that everyone was free to do their own thing until Sunday night. We have been accumulating mail in Calgary and had some other business to do so decided quickly to pack ...
Don finally slowed down enough today that when he tried to watch a movie he fell asleep. We walked a bit after supper and I had to share my Montana sunset with you. There is a small park just outside the fence of the park. Although we are located on a noisy corner where two main roads come together it is shady and handy to downtown.
Great Falls, Montana, United States momadunc... was that this wasn't remote. It was only 35 miles to one town, 45 to another and an hour to Great Falls. She had already made at least one triip to Great Falls that day for parts. The roads into these farms are gravel, as opposed to 'dirt', and if one is familiar with driving on loose gravel (read round stones) the driving is not bad. Unlike in Colorado, many of the farmers still live on the land where they farm.

July 1 - We enjoyed a lazy day at the campground. When I got up the first thing I did was call my siser Mary Jane to wish her a happy 59th. She and her husband, Tom, live in St. Lucie West, FL, where we also have our second home. My other sister, Rita, has a second home there, too. She and her family are there now, so they ...
... of interest: 1) The Olympic Village and then we managed to see an overturned rig, somehow there was a horse trailer involved and there were half a dozen horses, fenced off and grazing happily in the median strip, while cars crawled along both sides. We also managed to narrowly miss a small herd of deer as they made their way across the ...
Great Falls, Montana, United States foreman... Number 2 is my mid-thirties dream girl. Other items I wrote and have pictures of in my book are: my million dollar plus bank account, 20/20 vision and a picture of a guy with 6-pack abs. I have 3 ½ to 4 pack abs. I was willing to work at it. Actually, I was until my relapse in January when I was in Florida. I know 6-pack abs won't magically appear no matter how much faith I have in What? Is! to provide whatever I dream or wish for unless I exercise, do crunches, and eat right ...

Many have volunteers or "docents" - one lady we met here, who was well into her 70's has traveled to every state including Alaska and is off to Antarctica in a few weeks! Such vigor! We had a great day, feeding our minds in the centre and our souls along the river.
Great Falls, Montana, United States malbet... suffered droughts and became very desperate. By the 1920s there was an exodus of homesteaders. In 1921 Gordon Campbell, a geologist, found oil that stretched all the way to the Canadian border. New life came to Shelby. Shelby is historically significant for the Dempsey-Gibbons World Heavyweight Championship prizefight held there on July 4, 1923. An excellent Indian artifact collection is on display at the Toole County Library." Adios, Shelby Simmonds
