Eggs...you want some fresh eggs???

... a camper, but a resident of Kanarraville. He lived next door in a trailer with a bunch of chickens. He was busy corralling his rooster around my van when he introduced himself. Yup. Small town. Thought it was best to leave Roxi IN the van at that point. He waved me over to his place once the rooster was lassooed and gave me a half dozen fresh farm egss...technically free range as they walk about the main road just in front ...

Weekend getaway to Utah and Vegas

... all able to ride away from there and laugh about this incident later in the day. We turned in our snowmobiles right around 12:30pm, paid our very reasonable rental dues, and were on the road once again heading back to Las Vegas already. In the evening (by the way - this is still Saturday incase you were wondering) we went for dinner at the newly opened Texas De Brazil ...

Rain and chance of snow???

... who were already at the camp site we found out from them that over the course of the next few days we were expecting rain, lightning and possibly snow; we laughed once again and turned down the air conditioning a little. Despite waking at the usual time of 7.30am the cyclists were not tempted out of bed by the sound of rain hammering down on the tent. Eventually they plucked up the courage to get going after being locked out ...

... something different, or just from a different angle. Samuel also completed his Junior Ranger program today for the Bryce Canyon National Park. He's so into this stuff now and enjoys answering their questions and filling out his little book of observations and especially the swearing-in process. He's collecting so many badges and patches, we've told him we'll have to buy him a special vest to put them on when we get home. Tomorrow we leave Cedar City for the ...

... they should seriously consider this at yosemite where you are bumper to bumper at times. After this short trip to get oriented, we did a few short walks to scenic points & did a longer hike to Emerald Pools later in the afternoon. We enjoyed our campsite where we were able to dip our feet in the cool water of the river. This was an ideal campsite with the river 2 feet away.

... place and there are numerous places to explore, photograph and admire. With over 800 miles of hiking tracks it was hard to choose where to start. We decided on the popular Yosemite Valley (which is home to the three main accommodation places). The valley often known, as "the incomparable valley" is a canyon carved out by glaciers. With its towering cliffs, magnificent waterfalls and granite glaciers it is simply awesome. Normally the valley is overrun with ...

In the scene a plane crashes into a Vegas hotel destroying it and the producers were given permission to fly a plane into the hotel for the filming of this. ... I told her all I wanted was beer, pizza, and ice-cream. I did get what I asked for only in reverse order. On the way to Bryce Canyon National Park we walked in to a local diner famous for its bumbleberry pies. Don't ask us what a bumbleberry is, you'll have to go to the diner and read their large sign yourself that told the story of the bumbleberry. We sat down in a booth and we both ordered bumbleberry brownie sundaes for breakfast. We needed this kind of health food for the ...
