The WORST boat rider EVER: I never get sea sick, but the ferry was 3 hours long and the most choppy ride of my life! Its ALREADY the cheapest place in the world to get certified for open water scuba, and on top of that, they gave us 2000 baht off the price and free accommodation. My bus ride to Koh Tao was 7-8 hours, but it didn't feel long. I sat beside this crazy Brit named "Tommo", who regaled me with stories and photos of his night with a ladyboy prostitute. Hello again! We are now advanced PADI scuba divers Yippee! It's been a great week here in Koh Tao. We arrived on the night boat from Surat Thani where we had some yummy stall food before getting onto a cushion filled boat full of tourists for about 10 hours, we were rocked to sleep at sea, then arrived in the crystal clear waters of the islands harbour at Mae Head.

Came back to Ko Toa today for a week of Diving. I meet a bloke in Ko Phangnang who was doing the same thing so we booked up at a dive resort called Crystal and decided to be dive buddies! Crystal is an excellent place to do fun dives and dive courses. Rooms are good and cheap, cost of diving is cheaper than most and the staff are second to none. Arrived here on Koh Tao this morning and headed to Crystal Dive resort. Its so beautiful here, picture perfect stuff. The resort is right on the beach, its like a little village of beach apartments and everyone here is on the scuba courses.
