We were going to get a taxi to the zoo today, and because of our problems getting cash out of the local ATMs we went back to the unit that worked the previous day. This time it refused cash on all cards; WHY? Off we went to find a bank. We eventually found a "Bank of China" office. We carefully picked the forums and the parts manuals and put together a list of parts that I roughly calculated would cost us around $600-$700 US. We of course did a little bit of shopping at a camera store. We've been figuring out if a GoPro was possible on our budget or if they are even worth the amount of money (average 500$)!! So we ...

... next best option, takeaway gourmet hotdogs. I get a deal where I get a souvenir cup for $3 more so I take it. Nothing like coke and a hotdog when you have a toothache. I stupidly then line up for the tram that takes you around the zoo(at the zoo you can do the walks or catch the tram).

I should have done the walk first as there was no line up but I wasn't thinking and by the time I thought about it I was stuck in the tram line. :) There was no getting out. ...

... intense day driving, he was zonked by 8:30.

We're finding the driving a little easier now that we have electronic maps on the iPad, although, it's full concentration for Des as there are motosikals passing left and right of us all the time. Also we can't read any of the road signs so its a job for two people just keeping on the right roads. I navigate, Des drives. Our rule of thumb is, hold ...
