A highlight of the stay was having a Singapore Gin Sling at the famous Raffles Hotel. It was delicious, but not worth the S$27/drink. The whole place is so clean, and well organised. There were so ...

... in Dubai (remember this was after an 11 hour red eye flight with not much of what you'd call sleep) and was shocked to spend nearly 45 minutes on my bonus trip to the plane that was going to take me on my next 9 hour flight!!! I saw a heck of a lot of the Dubai airport tarmac but it did feel like we were going around in circles. It even crossed my mind that the bus might have been hijacked (don't laugh!).... Suffice to say my 1 hour lay over in Dubai was actually ...
