    We left our hotel in Johor Bahru au around 9.30 and caught a taxi to Singapore zoo. Which sounds easy enough. But. We had to go through 2 immigration checkpoints which added about half an hour onto the trip. We made it to the zoo, no harm done :) we had heard wonderful things about the Singapore zoo.     We flew Silkair from Singspore to Phuket where we are staying at the Mariott. Met Mars & Bec who had travelled from Bangkok arriving just before us. We got taxi to Mariott Resort where we are staying and they took us on tour incl Happy hour across from the beach. We were entertained by the bar man...very funny. Very large complex ...
