Singapore, Singapore ctompkins11... highly thin, totilla-esque crisp snack that was nice and sweet - I can't remember the name of that off-hand but it'll come back to me.

We then boarded the MRT and headed off to Marina Bay where we basked in the sunlight and looked at the high-rise buildings of the CBD (the Central Business District for those in the know ;-) ) and gazed at the Merlion statue. After wandering round we then went to another Hawker Centre and I delved in some Chinese AND Indian (because when ...

They all stroll around in jeans and shirts while we sweat our ***** off in hotpants. There's 28 people in our room atm. We're staying in a place called Little India. Singapore, Singapore nballingall... of our own clothes we had with us. After an amazing breakfast at MELT (in the hotel) we took a short nap on a deliciously soft bed. Afterwards, we went shopping at Marina Square for some clothes of our own and took a ride on the Singapore Flyer. It was really cool and the audio tour was really interesting! Maybe I can download it from the website..... When we got back to the hotel we decided to go for a drink at Axis where they ...

Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia hapis... agreement which my company had inked with a Malaysian utility operating in JB.

Formerly known as Tanjung Puteri, this capital of Johor State is one of the three highly urbanized centers in West Malaysia (Peninsular Malaysia), along with Kuala Lumpur and George Town in Penang. Separated from Singapore by the Straits of Johor, JB is less than an hour away from the city-state by car, bus or motorcycle, but this ...
Kampong Kebun Teh, Johor, Malaysia arnobs66So here I am in JB. It was a bloody long journey, which started with me thinking I might end up missing my flight due to a series of unfortunate circumstances, but thanks to a bit of quick thinking I managed to make it. I could tell you the full story...but it would probably send you to sleep. Talking of sleep, I got plenty of it on the 13 hour flight across from London to Singapore. Shame British Airways' food was a bit **** and ...
Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia abhishek2008Arrived in Johor Bahru with no idea where to go. The LP doesn't recommend anywhere as it basically says not to bother going! I located a helpful taxi driver who told me I would be cheaper to spend the night in the town of Senai, where the airport actually is. I ended up staying in a dodgy little hotel, I arrived about 7pm, locked the door and didn't leave the room all night! Glad it had a TV!!
Johor Bahru, Malaysia joannec... Its a beautiful island just a short trip from Singapore mainland, so laid back and friendly walking down the beach you feel like your in a different world where nobody has anywhere to rush off to and is just set on having fun with friends and family. Singapore, Singapore jessmarshall... the afternoon. There's a nice walkway along the water separating JB from Singapore, and we also climbed up the hill in town, enjoying little streets and alley-way life along the way. Just one afternoon in this town was a nice amount, better than we had been led to believe it would be by our guidebooks.
