      Amsterdam orientation tour showing the Mint Tower, Dam Square and Royal Palace. Saw a demonstration of diamonds being cut and polished before going on a canal cruise through the canals of Amsterdam. It was a lovely morning looking at the narrow multi-storey houses, travelling under many of the 100 or so bridges.       ... to the day. I left my hotel, and hauled my 50 pounds of luggage to the Brussels Centraal Station, where I took a train to the Brussels Midi station.
