          ... the mill, explaining the different types of wood they milled and the techniques used. It was all very interesting, especially for Tony with his background in cabinetry.

          ... One of the guys was from London, the other from Israel. We were such a cultured group! When midnight rolled around, we decided to check out the city. Midnight may seem late to go out for most Americans (myself included), but for Europeans, this is considered early. Most clubs don't close until around 4am and some don't open until 5am and close somewhere around 11am. They truly dance all night! We hopped on the tram and rode it about ...

          ... architecture, found the "I amsterdam" sign & some painted rabbits, this is miffy art.

          Kept walking came across more old buildings, apparently the is a row of buildings all on a lean except one, this was causing us much hysterical laughter - it's the Irish pub! lol. Found ye Rembrandt statue this was under repair interesting to watch them bronze welding.

          ... users of the road for every road project. Though I knew in my mind that the ordinance was not the endpoint and that there was so much more advocate for following the passage, seeing and experiencing Amsterdam has been a great reminder that this is a lifelong work. I see that the work of protecting cyclists does not end, but the journey keeps on going.
