    ... and Austria. The cheapest glass of wine in restaurants here started from €6, whereas the cheapest glass I'd had in Austria was only €1.40. My hotel room in Amsterdam was no bigger than a hobbit's hole, but it commanded the highest nightly rates than any of the other hotels I'd stayed. My room was narrow (only 2m in width) which almost felt claustrophobic, and I hadn't seen a smaller bathroom since Japan.

    ... snaking around well beyond where it would normally end. After about an hour wait we finally caught a taxi. I was really impressed that many of the taxis were Teslas and we got to ride in one. The taxi driver told us she had never seen such an outage and that they had just started to divert flights to other airports after we landed. The power outage had also taken out the GPS systems.     This past weekend we jet-setted to the land of street fries, canals, and prostitution. More commonly known as Amsterdam. We arrived late Friday evening and began our activities early Saturday morning with a canal tour.
