... to seeing them both and spending time with them around Berlin. Ok back to the blog, Saturday we had a slow start to the day at Dorethy's place at Irvine (about an hour out of Glasgow) then drove back to Ronnie's place in Glasgow. We were told that there is a beach near Irvine so we had to have a look. We stopped at Troon and walked on the beach. Definitely not up to par to our usual Kellys Beach, ...

Day 7, yesterday, was probably one of my favorite days so far. Uncle Jimmy and Aunty Marie took us for a drive for about an hour and a bit to a place called Loch Lomond. It was really pretty but very busy due to the gorgeous hot weather. (About 22 degrees!) We had lunch there and then drove to meet the rest of the family who we'd heard so much about. Uncle Jimmy and Aunty Marie have two sons, Jim and Mark. Jim and his ...

... looking birds with chicks that hatched the day we arrived! It's so cute to see the male bird flying in and out to feed the female and his babies. Uncle Jimmy and Aunty Marie are the epitome of hospitable. We have fresh fluffy towels and soft comfy beds. We're in single rooms but its ok for a few nights. I finally get the whole bed to myself! Ha! We had a BBQ in the sun for dinner - who would have thought we'd be getting a tan ...

    6 Sleeps to go!

... so should be a real sight to see. Our second last stop is Rio de Janeiro in Brazil for 4 nights. After the disappointment of our hotel in New York at the end of Part 1, we have pushed the boat out in Rio and have a room with a balcony overlooking Copacabana Beach. So he doesn't look out of place on the beach with the Brazilians, Kenny has bought new 'thong' trunks so we better get the Factor 50 sunscreen ready to protect his wee white bits! Seriously though, we will have ...
