... up and then at 8pm local time (10pm AEST) the plane out of Brunei headed towards Melb took off. I watched Batman Begins and slept for a bit before watching some BBT as the plane circled Melbourne and we saw the pre-dawn city which was beautiful. Lisa was home soon after midday, and phoned her internet provider, and it was a case of switch off, wait and switch on: problem solved. We went out to find a spot of lunch and drove around the town and I tried to spot familiar places. Apart from the Sultan's palace, the ...

... and leave but I felt rude refusing his offer and just went with the flow. He showed me the shell oil and gas discovery center, the tutong beach beach which is famous for it's pure white sands. The 2 lane road is sandwiched between ocean and beach to the right and a fresh water river to the left. If I were to sit in a boat on the river I could throw a stone into the ocean. It was pretty cool. From there we took a "shortcut" through a village. The village was flooded due ...
