... I think she meant my accent. They don’t get many visitors turns out. She kept offering to refill my coffee I think just to get me to talk again.

Ohio lived up to its reputation for bad roads with very patchy surfaces. Blaming Dave and (red) Barry for not paying enough taxes to their state.

11pm. Parked on a residential street. Jp says we couldn't have driven a minute more! Dinner from a nearby convenience store (cashews and nutty bars). After admiring the gulls we headed to the platform where I will tell you looking up the falls is intense and Claire noted to me that "Mommy, I feel really, really tiny - the falls are even bigger up close!" They really are, and the power of the falls is tangible both in the viewing of them but also when you get right up in the spray!
