Anaheim, California, United States adamsprinces... Definitely need to be in Boston for Christmas, or my family would kill me

For 2 and a half months i will be on the road (or wing, or boat, or rail). I don't even know where I will be going, I have a broad plan and want to see all the countries in South East Asia, and hike to the Everest region in Nepal. Hopefully it will be fun, enlightening, and adventurous. I have some ideas in mind, but I think the art of ...
Irvine, California, United States redjamin... the outlet mall I had previously visited and parked up. The frontage of the Citadel is a mock Assyrian Palace which was used in the backdrop to Ben Hur. Hmm, interesting. As it was hot I met up with Diana and we had a walk around the outlets again. We stopped for some pizza at Sbarro's (nice recommendation there Chloe - was good!) and sat outside in the food court to eat, which was very pleasant indeed. We then headed back down to ...
Irvine, California, United States loxias... had practice, watched films and did more media stuff, and then we traveled to Huntington Beach in the evening for a nice supper. Saturday morning we found a large park in Irvine and spent some time hiking. (I think we both had some nervous energy to burn off before the afternoon volleyball match.) The match was awesome but the PSU fans were definitely outnumbered. Whenever it seemed like we were making lots of noise, we'd stop and realize the Pepperdine fans were ...
Irvine, California, United States sweitzersA whole day in LA, which is a whole day longer than I'd like, is what awaited me today. After a large breakfast we all headed back into LA - BG, BG's mum and I were having a wander round the city. We went round some sites and checked out the Disney Concert Hall. This is a pretty spectacular building and the acoustics inside are amazing. Would be nice to catch a concert of sorts there. BG headed off for practice ...
Irvine, California, United States loxiasI finally informed my boss about my plans to quit and travel. This was one of the most difficult decisions that I ever had to make but I think I made the right choice. I ran through countless scenarios in my head, but ultimately, it came down to what my heart was telling me to do. I've been wanting to travel for a very long time, and I felt that if I don't leave now, it'll never happen. If I learned anything the last few years, something ...
Los Angeles, California, United States yah27... the front door never mind from some small Asian town. Cracking open a few beers we sat talking for hours with him revealing that he had lived in Thailand for 3 years as I tried to remember as much Thai as I could from 4 months ago. I really miss it. As the empties piled higher though the coherent reminiscing about Asia got lower which was also the direction I started to head in with the number of brain cells killed probably equalling the number of empty beer cans.
Los Angeles, California, United States alasdairmA very enjoyable four-hour flight from Mexico City (thanks to Paul) was a good start for my trip through USA. LAX wasn't as crazy as I expected, they didn't even open my bag! Well I was provably just lucky. My cousin Carla was waiting to take me to her home in Santa Clarita where I will be staying. Driving down the freeway we hit some hard traffic at 11am! Then I came to realize that in this huge city there are ...
Los Angeles, United States muns_sj... Beach too. Still super nice and warm. Really sketchy though. We think there were too many drugs in this area. There were people wandering around the street singing and dancing in groups and TONS of 'hippie'/homeless looking people selling a lot of useless **** along the road. We had some delicious pizza from this super sketchy pizza place for dinner ...
