      We were pretty pleased to be leaving Provincetown for a bigger city with hopefully some life. On the way down the coast we passed some mental halloween displays outside houses and took a detour to the Cape Cod crisp factory! Loads of free samples so I was happy.       ... soon realised there were no ill feelings about the Cup!

      In no time at all we had booked two trips - one to view the famous Newport mansions, and later in the day a sunset cruise out into the Atlantic!





      We enjoyed the guided Newport Trolley Tour that took us along the famous ten mile Ocean Drive, and past the many beautiful "Gilded Era" Mansions located on Bellevue Ave.

      ... I would have stayed in Edinburgh for two nights before going to Ireland. Instead of Dublin, I would have planned to do a coast of Ireland tour visiting more of the countryside and less of the city.
