      ... to be no rhyme or reason to where they did and did not have barriers and I think someone in Arizona is having a great laugh.

      There were of course great views from the summit lookout and you could walk around quite freely, no safety rails or anything. We saw some lizards and a what we think was a chipmunk on our wanderings, not to mention thousands of cacti. The area is used by horse trekkers and hikers and there are many trails one can follow.       We have been lucky with the weather, each day has been sunny and bright and good swimming weather. Tomorrow Margaret is going to get her fix of cards and will be going to a game of "Hand and Foot". Not sure if it is the same game as she plays each Friday back home, but I am sure she will settle into the routine of how the game goes on this side of the world.

      UPDATE: The landing would include a preteen throwing up into a barf bag a few seats in front of me, which left the aroma of vomit lightly in the air. I got off the plane and got my bag.
