      • We met up with Jack's old friends, Mitch and his wife Mattie, who live in Phoenix, AZ.
      • They promised to show us the best museums and sites in the area if we ever came to visit them.
      • It took us 2 hours to travel 150 miles from Blythe to Phoenix.
      • We first filled up the gas tank, just so that we wouldn't need to refill throughout the day.

      ... the air condition works very well in Phoenix as I got chilled being inside. Getting out to the heat to thaw out was crossing my mind towards the end of our visit.
