Further up the road we stopped to visit Fort Niagara. The fort overlooks Lake Ontario, so we have now seen all five great lakes on this trip.

We stopped at the 7 Eleven to get something to drink and to stretch our legs. The gas prices in Canada will make a grown man cry. I'm so glad we stopped and filled our truck before we went across the border. We finally arrived in Niagara Falls, Canada around 5:30 pm and we still have time to visit the falls.

We took another ride in the Maid of the Mist and the ponchos provided kept us dry for the most part. It's like an amusement park ride but with awesome, up close, views of the American and Canadian falls. Later that night we returned to see the falls lit up in colors of the rainbow.
