... with shopping bags and guys in business suits. Moms even peddle their kids around in handy little boxes at the front of their bikes. ************e seems to wear a helmet, but oddly enough I felt safer biking in major traffic here than I do at home, probably because all drivers are so used to watching out for bikes before turning, etc. Being on a bike is by far the best way to see the city. It is such a lovely ...
Copenhagen, Zealand, Denmark wallermark... statue in all of Europe. Based on the fairytale by Hans Christian Anderson, Denmarks most famous writer.
We then spent the rest of the afternoon walking up and down the main shopping strip. 1.8kms of pedestrian streets lined with shops either side. We did also plan to visit the Erotica Museum, but when we arrived at the front door there was a big gate pulled across and a sign hanging up saying 'closed for good' needless to say the 6 of us boys ...

... and arrived in a dark, small, quiet area. There was no one around and not much light except for some streetlights up ahead. I saw a pizza place from across the street, and after a few minutes of walked around, seeing not a soul in sight, I was not positive what time Melissa's game ended (Basketball game) and/or what time she was going to be home, or what time she was planning on meeting me at the train station. After I waited for about five to ten minutes, I decided it ...
Copenhagen, Zealand, Denmark ruyhirano... fairyfloss, beers for the big kids... on this day I laughed as much as anywhere on this trip! Soccer in the local park with their dog too was a lot of fun, although I was somewhat outclassed by young Gunnar in our game of two on two, let alone Pelle! Nonetheless, Tom kicked one of his best goals ever much to his delight... and gee he is really looking forward to running out with the good old Unley Primary team again on Saturday ...
Copenhagen, Zealand, Denmark chalmersfamily... expensive. It was 30 Kroner for 20 minutes ride, which amounts to CAD 6 !! Copenhagen is an expensive city, can't help it. First impression was good, historical and colorful buildings, paved streets, lot of cyclists !! Because of the journey I slept the whole day and whole night. And woke up when sun came up on Monday morning at 4 a.m. !!

Oh and I also visited the Round Tower, or Rundetaarn, which is an old observatory built by King Christian IV in 1642. So named for its roundness and its noticably rounder appearance when compared with most other buildings the Round Tower, which kind of resembles a tower that is round, used to be the ...
