    The past few weeks, while Mike has been away in "America" (as the locals say), I've managed to stay busy. I did end up horseback riding with colleagues, which was awesome! I also checked out the beach one day and have been trying out loads of new food and restaurants with friends.     ... of cool things!. I'll be going up the Burj Khalifa which is currently the tallest building in the world, watching the Dubai Fountains and then do a bit of retail therapy around Dubai Mall!.     ... big water slide park. The building itself is stunning. Thankfully it is well air conditioned as it is into the mid 40s every day and only drops to 35 degrees overnight. The hotel has three or four locations to chose from for buffet breakfasts and a whole bunch of restaurants. There is even a massive aquarium inside the hotel.
