We have arrived. Tired yet not too bad a trip. Looking forward to getting checked in and have a quick trip to my mom in Heerlen.

We had a lot more rain and thunder during the night and the ground is now like a bog underfoot. We collected our breakfast rolls at 9.00am and settled on a stay-at-home clean-up day as it was still cloudy and doubtful looking. I took a mountain of washing to the waschmachine and then 2 hours worth of trockner (dryer) all for 4 euros so couldn’t complain. ...
... Tomorrow the conditions look much better. Nice weather and no serious wind will bring me to Dueren approx 80 km into Germany.
Roermond surprised me ! A very nice place with a long interesting history !
Now I'm preparing the blog watch the Dutch hockey team (ladies) and prepare fot tomorrow!

... 4.30pm even though Anders had gotten 3 calls telling him it would be there. We had a yummy brekkie which used up more left over kroner. We were on a cheap airline Easyjet. It was definitely cattle class!! Lining up like browns cows and only allowed one carry on each so Don's camera bag went in the back pack.
