... concert at St Giles in the Fields, a great smaller venue. The excellent program included Hildegard, Praetorius, John Tavener, Howells, Britten, Arvo Part, Tallis, Otto Olsson and their resident composer Alexander Campkin. It was a long concert, with wine and mince pies at interval, so we really got our money's worth!! We also saw there a pulpit used by John Wesley. ... during the week and explored London on the weekends, sadly I didn't have as many friends as in Whistler but really that lifestyle was out of this world.
