As far as I know, Cebu is the only place for amateurs to let them fly aircraft by themselves under the supervision of an instructor pilot. ... It's a tiny island that's a half an hour water taxi north of Cebu Island. The cost of the taxi to the pier from the airport was $40ca, so $20 each we couldn't complain that's for sure!! Of course the bus is much cheaper but a lot slower but we only had four days. Time was precious. We got in the taxi at the airport and we got out at the pier! Perfect.
