    ... destroyed (there are 4 other centres catering to the rest). It was extremely hot, repetitive, physical work but as always friendly people and good banter got us through and kept us working at a decent rate. They are very grateful for the extra hands as they are struggling to keep up with the workload and there are not many volunteers locally (I think mostly due to the higher poverty levels than in Manila).

    Back again tomorrow for another solid days work!

    ... animals propped above my head, whispering to my friends while we all tried to act like the drill was the real deal. We all anxiously watched out the window as the visibility quickly worsened.
