    ... again. It is now moved to an even dodgier part of town. Hopefully it will still be there when we go to leave SFO tomorrow! Muni, whom we had considered a good travel companion, is now a foe! First destination, The Painted Ladies. Muni obviously doesn't have a clue where they are.     ... moment (over 6 miles), before returning the car at the airport. The great transit system (known as the BART) got us to within a mile of the hotel and an ancient (James Taylor soundalike) taxi driver got us the rest of the way. Total travel time for about 240 miles - 11 hours.

    A meal & a bottle later and off to bed....happy Monday all you Brits.

    ... right down. After we picked up our bags from the airport we got into a shuttle bus to our hotel. The driver was a bit of a rubber foot, bouncing on the accelerator and brake making it a very jerky ride but at least we arrived safely.
