Had a great flight on QF107 - I was in 3A business class (if you can't turn left turn back) and Rob was in premium economy in 29G. John and the crew really looked after us.

Caught the super shuttle from LAX to our hotel in Costa Mesa and had a pretty quiet day. I went on a mission to buy our US mobile phones - mission accomplished.

After a healthy Macca's breakfast we met up with John who had access to a car and we set off - first stop Costco - obligatory when in the States! We then got onto the Pacific Coast Highway and cruised south via Newport & Laguna Beaches and ended up at Dana Point. Gorgeous spot with the biggest marina I have ever seen - hate to think how much money …

Finally the big day has arrived! We woke up at 3 am, with only 4 hours of sleep behind us. The kids were lively, we were fed, packed and on the road to Melbourne airport by 3.40am. We left the car at the long term parking around 4.45am, checked in smoothly with Virgin and flew off up to Sydney, a short flight that was over before we knew it. The tiredness began to set in as we waited at Sydney airport, ...

Oh.My.God. Disneyland is amazing, unbelievable, incredible, marvelous (...and all of these synonyms). Seriously, there is no word that can properly describe this amusement park.

Disneyland is at approximatively 2 hours 30 minutes from Santa Barbara. Ty picked me up at 6 am to go to the Santa Barbara train station because our train was arriving at 6:45 am. At about 10:45 am, we arrived at Anaheim and we got at Disneyland at 11:00 am. I ...

Today we went to an indoor trampoline place which Dad saw on the internet called Skyzone. It was brilliant! I played in the basketball area for most of the time I was there. Two basketball rings are set up and you can slam dunk on them. It took a little while to get used to but once you got the hang of it it was great fun. The rest of the day we just relaxed. Shopping again tomorrow in Los Angeles. Hopefully I can get some good NBA ...
