... that one We headed back to the station, grabbed a Starbucks and off through immigration. Train time! Train was lovely, comfy chairs and free water. Happy out, after a 1.5 hour journey we arrived safely in Changping town, not to be confused with Changping which is on the other side of the country, quite confusing when booking things! Through more immigration with a ridiculous amount of giggling police officers, we're very entertaining! Cian was waiting for us around ...

... The shop owners were nice and polite, not in your face “Buy my stuff” kind of people. I was pleasantly surprised.

I didn’t buy much of anything, just enjoyed wandering. I went back to the hospital early. Maybe they would get me in sooner…nope! The only thing I was able to do was place myself ahead of 2 Air China guys. Ended up out of there 30 minutes early so it paid off.

Super long day ended with a collapse in bed!!

... br> Belinda said she contacted a grade school classmate of hers
and he wanted to take us to a fish restaurant, right on a fisherman’s
wharf. Her classmates name was Yuan. He was a prison guard about an hour’s drive from his home. If you could think of stereotypical prison guard, Yuan was the farthest thing from it.
He was a very kind and gentle acting person, that liked to laugh a lot.

To get there, Lewis had to follow Yuan on an off ...

Gene and I got a call from Belinda this morning saying it was raining at the beach we all planned to go to this morning. So we made new plans. We didn't have to leave the hotel until noon, so I had a leisurely cup of Xinglong coffee in the lobby, reading. Belinda came by and we decided to have a girls day out. So we went shopping in a department store and each bought a hat and strolled around. Belinda tried on an outfit but didn't like the way it fit. We went upstairs and each bought ...
