Yuan is a police officer who works in a prison. Gene was asking him questions about his job, so he told us. The prisoners are in there for violent acts they committed. They all work in factories and learn skills in prison so they can get a job when they are released. Gene asked him how many prisoners ...

The streets are filled with people, mostly eating. The cuisine is a lot different here than in Liuzhou. It is not as spicy. The island gets by on growing food and tourism. There were big trucks lined up for blocks waiting to fill up with fruits and vegetables that will be shipped to the northern part of mainland China.
