Mactan Shrine and The Jungle Restaurant
I have already written about The Jungle Restaurant in the Mactan Island section. The Mactan Shrine is amazing, with statue of Lapu Lapu and the story of Lapu Lapu. Many gift shops and souivner shops. Great place for buying those little items to take home.

Great Cultural Experience
Traveling to Mactan Island was the best. Great island with lots of diving, snorkling, clear water, white sand beaches. Loved it very much. Lot of history and Culture of the Philippines there.
I had many great times there, Mactan Shrine, Seeing the Famous Guitar Shops, Jet Ski on the sso very clear blue waters of the island.

Shangri La (Mactan)
... saw Fort San Pedro, the Heritage of Cebu monument/museum along with Magellan's Cross. It was interesting to follow the history. I went to Dominican Republic in May of this year. Columbus invaded that place and I got to see the history there, but Magellan who was from Spain just like Columbus came to Philippines just 20 years after Columbus discovered America. It was quite interesting to I guess to learn more about the Spanish history.
