i love getting great deals on hotwire...cheaper than a motel 6 i am staying in an amazing 4 star hotel overlooking the Danube from the 15th floor...great room for working and amenities beyond my expectations!

... the cafe though was the atmosphere. In Vienna, cafés are not just places to drink coffee; rather they are for relaxing, places were you can spend hours perusing the newspapers. We stayed for a while but before long we were heading for another truly Viennese activity: opera! Our guide told us how to secure cheap tickets and, after an hour of queuing, we were in! ... we decided it was all too exciting, so found a safe position on the opposite side and watched for an hour - and saw Putin arrive, lay the wreath etc, pictures aren't too good, but possible to see he is the little bald man!! So pleased we got lost looking for the brewery, anyway by the time this was over, it was well after 8 by which time we were very parched and hungry, so off we went this time in the right direction! ...
