    i love getting great deals on hotwire...cheaper than a motel 6 i am staying in an amazing 4 star hotel overlooking the Danube from the 15th floor...great room for working and amenities beyond my expectations!
    not far to the U-bahn and direct into the heart of the city

    ... hot coffee latte. Also on the grounds are numerous stalls selling everything including souvenirs, pretzels, meats, cheeses, you name it they had a stall.

    We leave the palace for our return to the ship and arrive just in time for our lunch in the restaurant.

    At 4.30pm it's all aboard as our ship sails towards our last destination of the cruise Budapest.

    Tonight is a special night ...

    ... everything seems cheap. I had a few glasses of white wine and bought the traditional Figlmuller plate with snitzel and potato salad (not the same as American potato salad). The snitzel was HUGE! I've never been served so much food, I struggled to finish it and I was quite hungry. The waiter that was serving me was really cute and nice; on my way out he said something about how beautiful my smile was - it made my day. Can't wait to explore more of the city tomorrow! ...

    ... We lost a few people yesterday so naturally new people were joining us tonight. So we waited in the Bar for Jah to finish there Contiki orientation. They eventually came out and the few of us that were in the bar introduced ourselves. We have picked up more Australians (Much to my dismay) a couple of Asian’s coming from a working holiday in Australia and some south African’s (the white kind) and another couple from America. After that I retired to my room for a big sleep. ...

    ... Palace, the eye scanned a marvellous white structure, which was ornate but not over ostentatious. Wandering around to the rear of the building what a sight to behold!     Today we spent lots of time at a music festival staged right beside the Hofburg Palace. We really enjoyed that! Every act we saw (except the acapella choir) included an accordion player. I've included a video clip of one that we thought was particularly good.
