    The ferry ride is really pleasant. The water is like a millpond and the ferry isn’t very full. We kick back and amuse ourselves trying to spot wildlife. “There’s a seal!” No, it’s a log. “Is that an orca?” No, just another log.     ... HOME. JOANNE TOLD BILL NOT TO HAVE HIS DINNER AS WE WERE BRINGING A SURPRISE UP FOR HIM.

    WE CAME HOME AND MADE TARTAR SAUCE, COLESLAW AND FRIED UP THE PICKEREL AND WENT TO McD'S FOR SOME FRENCH FRIES AND UP TO THE HOSPITAL.

    BILL WAS JUST THRILLED WITH THE DINNER ESPECIALLY THE PICKEREL. LOVED IT ALL.

    ANOTHER HAPPY DAY FOR EVERYONE ALL THE WAY AROUND.

    ... back to get her a dry pair of pants as she was soaked right through. The waitress was very apologetic and didn’t charge us all for our drinks, and the meal was reasonably nice. The ferry crossing was quite rough (and if you know me you know I don’t do boats or any size well) luckily I had taken a couple of seasickness pills and kept my nose buried in my Kindle so the 90 minutes went quickly.
