What a difference a pub makes 2. Again really good food and some fine cider has come to the rescue. What pub shuts at 3 to open again at 6? Again the answer is the Mt Inn at Stanton. Magnificent view over the village and into the setting sun and equally good food. Scotch duck egg and foie gras with caramelised onion for entrees and gammon and Gloucestershire spotted sausage (each of those are 2 dishes not 1 ...

... the weekend exploring the beautiful and quirky parts of the town and area. We saw Burghley house - the Pride and Prejudice lover within me was so happy!!

On another note, we're heading to Portugal in the Easter holidays!! I'm so looking forward to it - the sun and the beaches have been missed!! It's gonna be a fun-filled 10 days in the sun, lapping up some culture :)

    Love to all,
    Megz :)

... areas were outside in the yard, which had a chicken running around and a cage full of guinea pigs being fattened up for special occasions and festivals. No heating to ward off the weather. The three children from this family seemed to be cared for and were probably amongst the cleanest in the project (but with few changes of clothes). Other children were less well off. I have had a great time with them, doing puzzles, flying kites, playing on the ...
