Today sees us leaving Witton Gilbert with Passports! Vicky took us to Durham Station and then we caught the train and bus to Manchester Airport! The whole journey went very smoothly, with the exception of lugging large cases up and down stairs at York but hey ho! Very early in Airport - 1hr before gate opened. Looking forward to being frisked by Si but he's in Teneriffe! Both well and now waiting for Gate to open and signing off for next ...

Picked up the kids from school and told them they were off for their first set of Jabs. Nothing like a complete melt down in the playground. Emotions running high we met with the nurse, after mum and dad getting theirs it didn't make a scrap of difference it was a battle of wills.......we got there in the end. On leaving I advised the kids that they would be coming back for several more, im hoping that it will be easier 2nd, 3rd, 4th time round.

... but I feel the time has come.
Everyone knows Siri, right? The lady who talks to you through iPhones and the like? Now, we have a smartphone to give our dad directions that has a different voice than Siri, and therefore who must be a different person. For this entire trip we've had a girl we named "Sally", and who we've decided was Siri's problem-child adopted sister who lives in their family's basement ...
