Express Inn, Lichfield. Weather foggy then sunny and dry Picked up Samara and drove to Stoke-on-Trent to the Wedgwood museum. It was very interesting learning about the history of the company started by Josiah Wedgwood in the 1750s. He was also an innovator in pottery processes, local politics eg. Canals to bring goods and export goods to the coastal ports. The museum had a vast display of pottery, china etc. we had ...

Since then I have gone all over the world rather than travelling for a long period of time, due to university and working commitments but I hope that my experiences so far as well as my ones to ...

Walked around the ship then sat on the back talking to Ian from Aberdeen and Sue from Cornwall who are married to different people but who cruise together very odd but a good laugh. It is the captains cocktail party this evening and then we are having an early dinner and meeting up with group from the cruise forum if they are there by the time we have ...

... was delighted to see another such tour-de-force of sculpture on display in Chatsworth. Dinner tonight was at the Old Poet's Corner -- neé "The Red Lion". Voted best pub in 2013, we had high expectations for the beer and indeed it was worthy. Steve and Kelly got in the swing of pub life and have adopted "The Black Swan" as their local because the World Cup matches are aired live there. We may well join them tomorrow night for the USA ...
