The Holiday Inn, Burswood is abotu a $20 taxi ride from the top of Perth city, half way tot he airport. It is adjacent to the local casino and entertainment centre.

The rooms are well presented and maintained with all the facilities needed for business travellers.

I got to the Airport and It was amazing big and busy. I went to the other side of the Airport to catch a taxi on my way to my hotel. I got to the hotel and It was very tall and nice. I really like the hotel and I went to get the key for my room and went to the 2nd floor. I opened my door and my mouth fell open it was fantastic. The first day I went …

On Tuesday, Bill took Tony to the local Men’s’ Shed, where Bill mentors and makes stunning works from wood. They then played nine holes of golf at The Seaview Golf Club, Cottesloe. ... followed and we were back in the car, headed for the train station and to Subiaco stadium in Perth.
Kevin has his Google maps at the ready and we are on time for 6pm kick off. A few wrong turns, well that happens, and we are driving to what appears to be the docks.
Actually it is the docks and we are on the wrong side of the train tracks, very near the station but not near enough.
    I rest my case.

... am I telling all this? Well there isn't much historical infrastructure left to see. Since 1990 efforts have been made to restore Arab and Islamic landmarks and to beautify and modernise the port. It reminded us very much of Two Rocks (Alan Bond's dream resort town) just north of Perth – clean, aesthetic, limestone walls, Mediterranean architecture with no character or feeling.

The extensive Jaffa orange orchards lie to the east and south of the town. ...

I think this is going to be the longest week of my life I've emailed myself at work a list of work jobs that need to be done to keep me focused and organised for the week, every day I think of something else that needs to be done.
