... than 20 yrs we were told. It really is amazing there is no unemployment & usually no crime to speak of in Dubai. It is definitely a multi cultural society with everyone we have spoken to coming from different countries around the world. ... points each time our bags were first out on the luggage conveyer. It was a shock to feel the heat at 11am at night- as hot as the middle of the day type heat. After checking in we went up to the pool,the luke warm roof top pool, and looked over this mega flat city. It was really hazy too. For once our bed is soft and plush and we were upgraded so it is like a mini apartment. We even had a washing machine. Hi it is late on our last night in Dubai so I will try and keep it short and sweet. A couple of days ago we went on an evening desert safari. This was very fun even with a strong level of jet lag. We got to ride around sand dunes in the desert in a 4x4! We then enjoyed a great evening of an open bar, dinner, camel riding, henna tattoo, weird Arabic coffee and belly dancers.
