This Travellog will be our last for the summer 2014. Saturday the 13th we will be headed home.

We had a couple of weeks in Seaside, Oregon that included Labor Day weekend. Always good good weather at Seaside and we do a lot of biking there, going around town. Did make it up to Astoria for the Farmers Market, so fun to look and see all the goodies from peoples gardens, crafts and flowers.

... seal, so at nearly midnight, we had to try to work out very quickly, how to convert the dining set into a bed - we failed and I spent the night, wrapped in one of our blankets, lying on a bench seat with my legs on the ice chest while Nigel tried to stay away from the wet wall - not too difficult for him, he's practically comatose when asleep. Next day he set to with the sealant while I washed and dried ...

    ... looking around!

Next we drove around the Newport Marina and saw the fishing industry at work. It is a very busy harbour with lots of fishing boats and processing plants right there. We decided to surprise the boys and booked a fishing charter for the next morning. We spent the rest of the day biking around the campground, walking on the beach, and just hanging out. Everyone was in bed early ...
