          We caught the shuttle bus back to the ship. Such great service. Hervey Bay could learn a thing or two about tourism and service. New Zealand has been a great experience. We are back on the ship having a read before going to dinner. Nothing worth going to see at the theatres tonight or the TV.           ... at its best, with 3 to 4 course meals, small meals but delicious and why not take advantage of the wonderful chefs on board. Two nights on board are formal nights on deck 8 and it's compulsory to dress for the occasion. Brian was turned away the first night because of dress standard, he quickly went down to the cabin changed and came back and learnt that he won't get away with casual dress on formal night, it was very funny at the time and if you know Brian this won't surprise ...

          Left Gisborne this morning and took the coastal road towards Napier. Again we don't really know what to expect. The views from the road were slightly different to everything that we had seen before. Very difficult to explain that there can be so much variety as you travel around New Zealand. I would always recommend that people drive on this type of holiday. You have complete control over your pace and the number of stops that you take. Before stopping at Gisborne we debated if ...
