    ... hitting the tourists. We arrive at our hotel and our adorable porter, Marco, checks us in and shows us how to work the actual turn of the century lift...up to our room.     ... self-service area, restaurant and beer garden during a Bavarian evening. I felt pretty drunk after drinking 1L of beer! We left Hofbräuhaus just before 7, and Dylan wanted to stop at Schneider's for a beer but the lippy waitress said we couldn't stay unless we both drank!     ... out aside from a church built in 892, a tiny little church in a square overshadowed by a much newer church from the early 1900s; and the cathedral built in 809, the oldest thing not in ruins that we have seen thus far!
