      ... in 1700s. It is a tale that mirrors the expulsion of the Cherokee from the Appalachian Mountains. The film was poignant and very informative. The building also contains very good displays about the Acadians in Louisiana since they came here in the late 1700s until the present day. There were excellent displays with artifacts and narratives to explain the culture.

      ... Boiling Point. This restaurant, out on the highway, served us boiled whole crawfish with fried onion rings. There was a flavorful dipping sauce with Tabasco and other spices.
