Amrikanerna

Amri kanerna är veldikt trevliga och snella och alla är kompisar med alla. Dom gillar veldikt myket söta saker. I skolan så fins det 3 olika driker chockladmjölk, vanligmjölk och jogubsmjölk och den är knal röd. Det är nästan bara vi som driker vanligmjölk.

University Park Elementary School (UPark) - till en början en skola för lärarkandidater på Denver University!

I somras när flytten beslutades tog vi kontakt med skolan vi ville gå på - UPark. De lovade att ta emot oss förutsatt att vi bor i skolans närområde. Området sträcker sig runt om skolan i alla väderstreck, ca 2 km i N-S och V-Ö riktning, inget jätteområde direkt. I woke up this morning feeling just like I did yesterday morning. I was lying on the floor with my ribs hurting. The mattress had deflated once again during the night; I was not a happy camper, or I mean house guest. We didn't do very much today at all. As I had stated before, Alex and Amber both live in a one bedroom apartment so I did not have my own room. Another thing I had to adapt to was that they did not have a full size couch for me to sleep on either. Instead they had a blow up mattress that I could sleep on the floor, which sounded fine to me. I woke up at the KOA about 945 this morning. It was a bright cool morning perfect for a drive. I was surprisingly refreshed after having a hard time going to sleep last night during the storm. After finally waking up and walking around outside, I broke into my incredibly small refrigerator to make a ham sandwich. This was my first day of the mission trip. From what I remember, it was mostly worship and hanging out for the night and getting ready for our assignments for the week. Since I don't remember much from it, I won't go into to daily detail. Every day though I went to a boys and girls club and hung out with kids all day. It was an amazing experience and helped fuel me to go on more mission trips.

... eachother very well had the best times together. After spending this time with everyone, including Nathalie, I knew that I wanted to go on new and exciting adventures. But not by myself, I wanted to take Nathalie with me in my suitcase, so I did. I asked her to marry me and she thought I was crazy, she was right, and she said YES! So it was these months of Party Time that led up to our new journey together.
