One company gives walking tours of certain tunnels and basement spaces which are really cool until the guide announces that the tunnels were condemned before the Seattle World's Fair because people continued to use them despite their disrepair (and the presence of actual pavements at street level) and several cases of the plague were reported.       ... back in the US. Skagit County was a beautiful agricultural area. We made a slight detour to Anacortes and found Frido for a great Mexican lunch. Then back on to 5 bypassing Seattle for our stop at a KOA almost to Tacoma. We had appointments with The Mercedes Sprinter Dealer for new brake pads and a headlight and with a mobile RV repairman for our macerator pump.       ... getting through. The Hardrock Cafe was right across the street and I knew it would be a loud night for sure.

      My room in the hostel welcomed me with a disgusting smell of sweaty feet and in general, the place seemed rather like a hippie festival than anything else. While checking in I had already been informed that pot was legal in the state of Washington. Maybe that explained the crowd right in front of the hostel?

      ... tank. Some solar water heating units use a similar set-up however with tubes fulled of anti-freeze that are then attached to a heat transmission loophole, where water in a storage tank is warmed. Whatever system you utilize, thermal water heating is surprisingly affective.

      There are a great deal of means to capitalize on the sunlight and use much less electricity. Have a look at following year's National Solar Tour to see them for on your own.
