... for domestic and 3 hours for international flights, they mean it. After all they are spirit not sprint.

Update: The next adventure didn't happen as planned. We had a 3 hour delay leaving Ft Lauderdale due to a flight attendant not showing up for work. It actually got comical or perhaps that was my state of mind. [

The good news is we have made it to Lima in good fashion! Will check in again ...

... gates open out of six. My experience of arriving and departing at Fort Lauderdale is one of inefficiency. Whilst I didn't know how active Costa Rica was to be, Florida was always going to be the winding down part of this trip and wasn't going to be thrill-seeking and adventurous, it it was still pretty busy. They've ...

Clearing thru customs, rechecking our bags and reentering the secure area for our Charlotte flight went smoothly. We're now at our gate waiting another 2 hours for boarding our 7:10 flight at 6:40. We'll grab something to eat and hopefully will leave on time. Weather forecast is thunderstorms for CLT and delays into and out of CLT are expected. Bummer! Well, so far so good. We're pulling away from the gate on time. ...

... was faster to travel on the Outside but after our marathon trip from Marathon, we decided to stay on the Inside. Besides, everyone told us that the trip on the ICW from Miami to Fort Lauderdale would be one of the most beautiful and memorable stretches of the ICW and it was. After first passing the through the highrises of Miami, one then enters the Miracle Mile (it actually 2 miles) of Fort Lauderdale, so named because of the many homes, condos, restaurants and shops located directly ...
