... Carlsbad we drive to Dallas. Best known for the murder of John F Kennedy in 1963. We visit the place where it happened and meet a guy who was there in 1963. He was 13 years old at the time and is convinced there was more than one shooter. Every day you can find him on the grassy knoll , telling his story and selling magazines that support his view. We also watch a baseball game at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Rangers vs Giants. Rangers win thanks to a 2-run homer by Josh Hamilton ...
... and then we got her up for cake and presents. Mama was so happy to see Addy's excitement over the minion cake I made her! Once again, so many wonderful and thoughtful presents! A big thanks to Cousin Bennet for helping Addy open her gifts!
She may be too young to remember all this, but hopefully all of these pictures will be fun to look at later! Thanks so much to everyone for being a part of Addy's first birthday at home!!
... s going to be a REALLY long 36 hours without much sleep, but it'll be lots of fun.
The airport shuttle is picking me up at 1:30, so I'd better go finalize everything. I like to be ready an hour or so before so I can always make adjustments for all the things I remember at the last minute. Fortunately, I don't have the "seems like I forgot something..." feeling this time. At least not yet!
