... her. I would imagine so - that is all she knew until she entered our lives, and who would not miss such a spunky little girl.

The pictures are such a treasure. There are no captions or dates - we can only assume when they are from and what was going on at the time. We are so thankful for these pictures! ...

... Now she will say "uh-ewww." Quite amusing.
    9. High chair - We swear she wakes up some mornings and says "high chair."
    10. Hi-ya and Bye bye - She has been saying this for quite a while. Very sweet to hear that little voice and the drawn out words. Very Texan!

I am sure I have left out quite a bit of stuff that she has picked up on, but those are the ones most memorable to me. We are so proud of how much she has grown!

Our first stop on the road to South America was an overnight in Dallas, Texas on Spencer's B-day. So, I scouted out a famous BBQ place that was close to the airport and our hotel - Hard Eight Texas BBQ was it! We ordered a tray of meat - seriously. ... s going to be a REALLY long 36 hours without much sleep, but it'll be lots of fun.

The airport shuttle is picking me up at 1:30, so I'd better go finalize everything. I like to be ready an hour or so before so I can always make adjustments for all the things I remember at the last minute. Fortunately, I don't have the "seems like I forgot something..." feeling this time. At least not yet!

... giving the boys the insight of how other people live around the world.

I miss not going cross-country skiing this year. I was hoping to get out at least once before we left, but hockey took precedence. Of course I will miss all our wonderful friends and pets and even my students and work a little bit! Our home has never been cleaner as it was when we left (thanks Cynthia!). I'm sure I will even miss the simple act of being at home.
