... somewhere! So far the Lutherans have outnumbered other denominations (that we've seen anyway). Finally I can tell that Jim is taking retirement seriously since we didn't have to go inside a single church to see what kind of organ they had!! I've waited a long time for that to happen!!
There were a few historic train cars and a train depot that looked interesting but was closed on Sat. so we didn't get to look inside. Also several decorated buffalo ...
... and drove 3 hours through North Dakota into Minnesota. (I felt a bit guilty about North Dakota). We found another cheap and nice city park by the river just near the town centre of Pelican Rapids - home to the largest pelican (statue) in the world. We decided not to eat in town but went for a walk after dinner. just as well as there was only a pizza shop and McDonalds.

Traveled to Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. We are staying overnight at Forest Hills RV Resort. The resort is located on a nice golf course. Unfortunately, the golf course is maintained with Toro and Jack equipment.
On our way to Detroit Lakes, we explored some of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes. We seen a lot of water fowl but that was really the extent of wildlife we encountered.

Today we sat in the sun, kayaked, and napped. It was another beautiful day. I did get up very early to pick up a speedo cable in Alexandria. About a 250 mile trip but I need it. I'm not putting the cable on here at the cabin for a few reasons. I'll need to do this at home. Brittany has no fear of the kayak. She is pretty fast as well. Loretta will join us today. Got to Britt's about 6pm last night after stopping by Svingen's cabin for instructions. A long day of riding but everything went well. About 425 miles. We ate at Texas Road House last night and went to the movie "Lucy". We were a little disappointed with the movie. Later, Britt drew a bath for me in her jacuzzi bath with candles. Very nice! Today ...
