    So after a little worrying that nothing would come through....they did. The catalyst being an e-mail via the British Burns Association. Once that was sent out I received a few offers of places to visit; Galveston (Texas) and New York. Phew!

    Additionally, I had a message from the Chairman of the Katie Piper Foundation asking whether I would like to contribute to the charity's own journal named the 'Journal of Burns, Scars and Healing', which is an exciting prospect. ...

    Summers day forecast 18c so back in shorts. Morning tea at Launceston then on to the M5 with fuel and lunch near Bristol. VAT is 20% in UK.     ... there and we had a good wander around Leicester market. I took a walk on my own in the afternoon (and found my way back ok) and found Curve, which is a huge theatre. Quite an impressive building. As you go in you can walk around the auditorium, which is enclosed by a see through wall, and look up into the roof and see the tiers of lights and flats and everything else that goes on up there.
