We also spotted a few dwarf mongoose; where an over-confident little one tried to take on a giant plated lizard which promptly put it back in its place by scaring it back into the bushes. ... lake and go at it. At one point, they even trumpeted (either to each other or to an Ibis we heard somewhere.) We've never seen an elephant go completely submerged but these guys did. They really seemed to enjoy their "swim" which we were told elephants can do but "Caspar" and "Kristo" stayed in a part of the lake where it was only about 2m deep.
