    Melbourne to Sydney

Our flight from Melbourne to Sydney was at 3.20pm. We really wanted to see more of Melbourne but we woke up late again and the station didn't have lockers per hour, only per 24 hours and they were so small we needed 2 which would have cost £30 so we decided to go straight to the airport. The restaurant was absolutely packed but we decided we were happy to wait the ...

... home to the UK on Tuesday 11 November. We are travelling on a new airbus 380. SG is amazed and relieved it gets off the ground. We will arrive nearly 24 hours later. It just reinforces that we have indeed driven an awful long way.

*One final Pommy whinge - and a warning to others leaving Sydney Int'l Airport. They charge 4$ for a luggage trolley, non refundable. But they accept credit cards. Outrageous Even Theathrow ...
